In 2023, a van crashed into one of our Virginia clinic pharmacies and destroyed it.

Sally Goldberg, our Regional Director of Pharmacy, worked three days straight followed by multiple 20-hour days to make sure more than 800 patients never went without their medication.

That’s just one chapter in her 15 years of service.

This month, Sally received the Service Award from the Virginia Association of Medication Assisted Recovery Programs recognizing her impact across opioid treatment programs throughout the state.

Over her career, Sally has served 11 outpatient treatment porgrams across three organizations in Virginia, including 13 years with Pinnacle leading clinic pharmacy operations. In 2021, she partnered with the Virginia Department of Health to help clinics begin distributing naloxone, then worked to expand that access statewide. And she shows up for her team 24/7, in every sense of the phrase.

Sally is the definition of a servant leader. She strengthens systems, expands access to care, and protects Virginians at their most vulnerable.

Sally - congratulations. This recognition is well earned, and we’re proud to have you on this team. 💙

Compassion is something you can’t teach and Erin pairs it with a drive to keep learning. That makes her patients better for it.

From starting as a case manager to stepping into her role as a counselor, Erin’s growth this past year really stands out. She’s continued to lead with that same compassion while putting in the work to keep growing.

She’s taken meaningful steps to expand her education, seek guidance, and build on her skills — and you can see it in the way she connects with her patients.

Thank you, Erin, for the care and dedication you bring every day. It’s felt by the patients you support.

Not every patient walks into counseling ready to engage and that’s okay. 💙

At Alliance Medical Services of Johnstown, Counselor Kaegan Ryan is helping change that. With patience, consistency, and a whole lot of heart, he’s creating space for even the most hesitant patients to open up, stay involved, and give the process a real chance.

That’s the kind of work that changes lives. Thank you, Kaegan. 🌱

Recovery is about growth and yesterday we took that literally. 🌱

Our team at Alliance Medical Services of Johnstown spent Earth Day sprucing up the grounds, laying mulch, and planting flowers around the facility. A brighter welcoming space for our patients, a little love for the planet. 🌎

State College Medical is celebrating Earth Day all week long. 🌱 🌍From planting activities to hands-on crafts, there’s something for everyone to get involved.

Our green-thumbed staff members love connecting with patients by sharing ideas, talking about plant care, and sparking new interests. Events like this have even led some patients to explore gardening as a new, healthy hobby. ☀️
