Responsibilities
*Hands-on assistance with activities of daily living
*Assist residents with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
*Assist residents with personal care and hygiene
*Administer and track medications
*Plan and prepare meals
*Perform general housekeeping and cleaning of home
*Be a pleasant and supportive companion
*Monitor and record changes in behavior
*Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Skills
*Good moral character
*Capable of appropriately handling emergency situations (CPR, First Aid)
*Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
*Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
*Respectful and compassionate
*Good time management skills
*Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
*Self motivated
*Physical endurance
*High school diploma or equivalent
