Semen sales (Cattlevisions, ST Genetics and Select Sires) Tumbling B Cattle Co. was founded in 1997 with the purchase of a single Angus cow and calf pair. I decided after many years of working ranches in several states that it was time to begin investing in my own cattle, and put a plan in place that would allow me to establish an independent business offering reproductive services. In late summer of 2001 the journey brought me to Ohio and gave me the opportunity to start the business I had mapped out in my head. Years later since moving to Ohio, my wife, Dawn and I have started a family and continue to serve the needs of cattle producers on a daily basis. Early on I saw a need to provide small producers the advantages of artificial insemination when bigger semen companies did not find it feasible to send A.I. technicians into small herds. Today, we offer A.I ., full service embryo recovery and transfer services and semen sales for Cattlevisions & Select Sires. The summer of 2008, we opened the first BioPRYN lab in Ohio and one of 13 in the world offering lab services to test beef and dairy blood samples for pregnancy as an affiliate lab for BioTracking in Idaho. We now BioPYRN test four species, cattle, bison, sheep & goats. Thanks to all of our customers and the valued friendships we’ve made over the years.

Lot 4 … AAA21526681 … Tumbling B Buckskin 5235 … a January calving ease son of Poss Rawhide out of Tumbling B Queen Peggy K3529. Buckskin is the complete package with pedigree, performance and phenotype. The bull was the high gainer on test at 3.69 ADG, scanned a 12.3” REA at .27” BF, impressive 5.65 IMF and 40 cm SC at 14 mos old! Maternal brothers to his dam were featured lots in last years sale and he is every bit as good … thick made, big hipped and very docile. DNA is being tested for advanced genomics and we expect results with updates back prior to sale day. Buckskin is a herd improver on many levels regardless of your end game.

Lot 2 … Tumbling B White Rapids 5819 … Commercial PB Angus. A late January son of HCC Whitewater out of a Baldridge Bronc dam. White Rapids is calving ease, big topped and widespread. He gained an impressive 3.34 lbs/day on test, scanned a 13.3” Ribeye area at .21 BF with a 4.99 IMF. The dam of 5819 has been one of our most productive Bronc daughters and his sire ranks in the top 1% of the breed for REA, top 10% for marbling and top 15% for carcass weight.

Poss Re*****on … this bull has done a fantastic job for us and crossed so well on a variety of pedigrees … calves are stamped very consistently for like and kind!

Lot 1 … AAA21526682 … Tumbling B Ratified 5965. A January ET son of Poss Ratified and maternal grandson of Pine View Susanna A083. 5965 is barrel middled, wide chested and full of muscle. The bull scanned a 13.5” Ribeye area at .2 FT and a 4.35 IMF … 38cm SC … 3.08 ADG on test … 10 CED, 83WW, 28 Docility, 1.18 Marb, 80$M and 89$W. Genomics have been turned in and we are expecting results before sale day. A stout made bull that checks a lot of boxes.
