CALLING ALL GOLFERS: GOLF SEASON IS LESS THAN 3 MONTHS AWAY
The top frustration we hear in clinics from golfers is that they are frequently not able to play multiple rounds of golf in a week because they are dealing with pain either during their round or pain that starts following their round. The second complaint we hear is that they have lost speed and distance during the offseason and in the case of younger golfers not sure how to increase their swing speed without swinging harder. This does not have to be the case. As a Physical Therapist that is Titleist Performance Institute Certified I can tell you that we are able to address the above frustrations. Using our skill set we assess each person’s health history, conduct a thorough musculoskeletal examination, coupled with the TPI Screening Process we are able to establish an individualized and specific treatment plan which takes into account each individual’s goals. We work closely with the physicians in the area as well as we are able to work with your golf professional or swing coach.
Your initial visit will consist of meeting with a licensed clinician that specializes in injuries related to golf as well as treatment approaches directed at enabling you to reach your goals. The initial consult consists of an interview process to help us understand your health history, current status and what your goals are. We then complete a detailed musculoskeletal screen and examination followed by screening related to motions needed for your swing. Each player receives a specialized program following evaluation.
In some cases we are able to evaluate and establish a treatment plan through your insurance as well as we offer self-pay rates. Whether you are casual, serious, beginner, novice, amateur, or competitive we are here to help you take your game to the next level.
