Port of Call: Hawaii

Our residents took a trip to the beautiful islands of Hawaii this week! From learning about island culture to moving along to the music, everyone had a fantastic time. One of the highlights of the day was learning how to hula dance—there were lots of smiles, laughter, and great moves all around!

It was a wonderful way to bring a little sunshine and island!

Spring showers just got a whole lot better at Harmon House! Our amazing team recently won embroidered rain jackets from the “Cash Prize Cube,” and we couldn’t think of a more perfect gift for the season. These jackets are not only practical for the spring weather, but also a small token of appreciation for the incredible staff who make Harmon House such a special place every day. Thank you to our hardworking team for all that you do — we’re lucky to have you!

Our “Cash Prize Cube” Nursing Home Week event was an absolute blast! Each employee stepped into the inflatable cube for 10 seconds with one mission — grab as much CASH as they could! Attached to the back of each bill were surprise prizes including bonuses, chips, candy, t-shirts, sweatshirts, personalized rain jackets, candles, fruit, AirPods, portable charging banks, personalized tumblers, and so much more!

The excitement, laughter, and smiles throughout the event made it such a huge hit! Our team works tirelessly every single day, and this was just one small way to show our appreciation for their hard work, compassion, and dedication to our residents. Thank you to our incredible employees for everything you do… you deserve it all and more!
