Echinacea (Echinacea angustifolia and Echinacea purpurea) is part of a genus of flowering plants in the Asteraceae family, commonly known as the daisy or sunflower family. There are several species, but Echinacea purpurea, Echinacea angustifolia, and Echinacea pallida are the most used for medicinal purposes. Native to North America, Echinacea plants are known for their distinctive purple or pink flowers with raised centers and spiky petals.

Native Americans have used this herb for hundreds of years for its immune-enhancing properties and to treat a variety of ailments. Early settlers soon adopted the plant as a home remedy for the common cold and the flu. It became a staple herb in the United States soon after.

Echinacea has many important constituents that provide a range of health benefits. Some of the most notable are alkyl amides, caffeic acid derivatives (cinchonic acid), polysaccharides, polyacetylenes, and flavonoids, including quercetin and kaempferol.

You just found out you’re pregnant — and while everyone’s asking about baby names and nursery colors, I’m asking something else:

How is your body adapting to pregnancy?
Early pregnancy is one of the most important windows to gather information — not because something is wrong, but because we want to stay ahead.

I look at:
• Thyroid function
• Progesterone levels
• Nutritional status
• Blood sugar patterns.. and more, depending on you.

This isn’t one-size-fits-all care. It’s personalized support based on real data — so you feel informed, supported, and confident from the very beginning.

✨ If you're newly pregnant (or trying) and want to be proactive about your health, comment “start now” and we’ll take the next step together

True wellness isn’t about sudden transformations or grand gestures. It’s about the small choices you make every single day — the ones no one else sees.

Consistency is the quiet force that builds lasting health. It’s waking up and choosing nourishment, movement, rest, or mindfulness — even when you don’t feel like it. It’s those moments of showing up for yourself that add up, creating a foundation you can rely on.

Some days will be easier. Others, harder. But every time you choose yourself, even in the smallest way, you’re investing in your future well-being.

So if you’re feeling overwhelmed by health goals or self-care routines, remember: it’s not about perfection. It’s about persistence. The steady commitment you make today moves you forward.

Keep showing up.

Elderberry- “Nature’s flu remedy!” Elderberry is one of, if not the most sought-after natural remedies for the flu. Elderberry has three times the antioxidant capacity as compared to blueberries.

Ginger, Cinnamon, and Lemon Peel - this powerful trio adds additional anti-microbial protection to help ward off secondary infections caused by bacterial pathogens that often like to take over after the initial fight with the flu.

Honey- Who doesn’t like honey? While this adds a bit a sweetness to balance out the strong bitterness of the herbs, it also adds an additional level of antimicrobial protection!

Reishi mushroom- Reishi is known as the “Mushroom of Immortality.” One of the most researched and widely used mushrooms, reishi supports the flu defense by controlling the inflammatory immune response to the viruses.

Honeysuckle - It’s been called the “penicillin” for viruses. Honeysuckle has a unique ability to naturally inhibit or neutralize many different infectious virus’s like the flu that often plague us all.

Slowing down isn’t easy — especially for women used to doing it all. I’ve been one of those women, always pushing, always going. Ignoring the signs, telling myself I didn’t have time to rest.

But here’s the truth:
Slowing down will come in seasons — and resisting it only makes things harder.
The difference is learning to be proactive in those slow seasons. Adjust your care. Prioritize yourself.
And don’t be afraid to ask for guidance.
Having someone walk alongside you — helping you shift your care, navigate challenges, and find new ways to heal and grow — makes all the difference.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or stuck in overdrive, know this:
It’s okay to slow down.
You can still move forward — just differently.
Your health deserves attention in every season.

Let us help you lean into the slow with grace and intention.
You’ve got this.
Know someone who’s been stuck in overdrive or resisting the slow?
Send this their way. Sometimes the reminder to slow down — and feel supported while doing it — is exactly what someone needs to hear.

🌿 Your Gut and Hormones Are Deeply Connected 🌿
Did you know your gut plays a major role in hormone balance?

When your gut is inflamed or imbalanced, it can:
💥 Recirculate old estrogen (causing PMS & heavy periods)
🔥 Raise cortisol (your stress hormone)
💤 Slow your thyroid
🥦 Block nutrient absorption needed for hormone production

If your mood, cycle, or energy feels “off,” your gut might be the missing piece.
🩺 Let’s get to what could be triggering your hormone imbalance — it all starts in the gut.

Too often, we wait until we’re overwhelmed to ask for support.
But real growth happens when you allow yourself to be supported before burnout hits.
In wellness, as in life—clarity, healing, and transformation deepen when you’re not doing it all alone.

If you’ve been carrying too much on your own, this is your sign: it’s okay to ask for help.
Our clinic is here to support your journey—whether you need guidance, answers, a plan, or just someone to listen.

🧠 Did you know your gut health affects way more than digestion?
When your gut barrier becomes compromised — often called “leaky gut” — it can trigger inflammation that reaches far beyond your digestive system.

✨ Here’s how it can show up:
🧩 Brain & Mood: Brain fog, anxiety, depression, and memory issues due to inflammation
affecting the gut-brain axis.
🌿 Skin: Eczema, acne, or psoriasis flare-ups tied to systemic inflammation.
💪 Joints & Muscles: Stiffness, aches, or arthritis-like pain from inflammation spreading through
the body.
⚖️ Metabolism & Hormones: Blood sugar imbalances, weight gain, PMS, or thyroid issues
linked to poor detox and hormonal disruption.

Your gut truly is the foundation of whole-body health. 🩺

💚If you’ve been struggling with any of these symptoms, it may be time to look deeper — starting with your gut.
