Hyacinth Clinical Services and Consulting provides quality mental health services to Central Michigan, including Midland, Mt Pleasant, Alma, and Clare. We believe in:
- Collaboration - Therapy should be a collaborative endeavor, where we work together to address concerns. We also believe in collaboration across disciplines and agencies to best address concerns
-Flexibility - Therapy is not a one-

size-fits all endeavor. We believe in flexibility in interventions, modalities, and structure to roll with whatever life brings up.
- Continued learning - All people have ongoing potential for resiliency, change and improvement. We value continuing to gain knowledge on a daily basis as a means of self-improvement.
-Quality mental health services as a basic right - We believe in making quality care accessible to all. As a result, we engage in modalities like Walk and Talk therapy and telehealth. We will also work with you to address any concerns you have about affording services.
-All people deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of gender, race, religion, sexuality, income, or history

Healthy relationships don't require you to merge into one person. They require two whole people who maintain their own lives while building something together.

You have your own hobbies and friendships outside the relationship. You support each other's solo plans without guilt-tripping. You don't need permission to make personal decisions. You miss each other without feeling abandoned. You maintain your own identity while building together. You celebrate each other's individual growth.

That's not distance. That's security. When both people can exist independently, they choose to be together because they want to, not because they need to.

Like and follow for more on building healthy interdependence.

Parenting is deeply personal. The way we respond to our children is often shaped by how we were raised, what our homes were like growing up, and the values we learned along the way.
When partners bring different parenting experiences and expectations into their relationship, those differences can sometimes lead to tension or misunderstandings.
In this webinar, we’ll explore how childhood experiences shape parenting perspectives and how couples can navigate those differences in a way that strengthens their partnership.
Drawing on Gottman research, participants will learn practical tools to communicate more effectively, reduce criticism and defensiveness, and work together as a parenting team.
Because raising kids is easier when you feel like you’re on the same team.
