The recall for Children’s Ibuprofen Oral Suspension is sold in 4-fl oz bottles from the manufacturer Strides Pharma. We ask that you take a moment to check the Children’s Ibuprofen Oral Suspension that you may have in your homes &/or diaper bags for the recalled lots.
There are several major retailers where the recalled Ibuprofen has been sold, including: Walgreens, Walmart, CVS Health, Family Dollar, Target & Amazon. Please check regardless of where you purchased the Children’s Ibuprofen Oral Suspension. Per the recall notice, the bottles may contain a gel-like mass and black particles. If you have bottle with lot numbers 7261973A or 7261974A and an expiration date of Jan. 31, 2027, STOP USING and DISCARD. You may be able to return the product to the store where you bought it. The FDA has classified this as a Class II, which means the risk of serious harm is low. Lot numbers are generally located on the back of the label, towards the bottom (as shown in the photo).

Trick question!
Juice has historically been thought of as "healthy" but the reality is that it is full of sugar! Sugar leads to problems-such as tooth decay and accelerated weight gain. In general, giving the fruit (instead of the juice) is a much better option (fiber & nutrients).

📚✨ It’s Reach Out & Read Launch Week! ✨📚

We are so excited to officially launch Reach Out & Read at our clinic!

Beginning this week, every child from birth through age 5 will receive a brand-new, age-appropriate book at their well visit. Our providers will also talk with caregivers about the importance of reading together every day to support healthy brain development and school readiness.

🎉 Special Launch Week Events:

📖 Monday Morning:
• The library will be here for story time
• Staff will help families sign up for library cards

📚 All Week Long:
• Community reading advocates will be reading to patients in the waiting area

🎟 Friday Raffle Drawing:
Families will have a chance to win a starter home library stack of books for:
• Infants
• Toddlers
• Preschoolers
• School-aged children

(Meredith here): A few years ago, I was helping out at my kids’ school during one of my favorite traditions—sending “candy grams” to friends for Valentine’s Day.

One moment has always stayed with me. A child in the class didn’t celebrate holidays, and instead of leaving him out, his friend thoughtfully customized his note. It wasn’t about Valentine’s Day at all—it simply said how glad he was to be his friend.

As we get closer to Valentine’s Day, let this be a reminder: tell the people in your life that you care about them—friends, parents, teachers, classmates.

It doesn’t have to be complicated or store-bought. A simple, intentional note can mean more than we realize.
