Job Summary
Prime Care DME, Medical Supply is hiring for a Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Sales Liaison position. This role is pivotal in combining clinical abilities and knowledge to promote Speech Generating Devices (SGD) and provide consultation for SLPs and end users for set up, implementation, and access of the SGDs. Establish relationships with referral sources such as physicians, hospitals, SLPs, speech therapy clinics, schools, rehab facilities, private duty nursing agencies, home health agencies, etc. in order to grow the business and improve communications and operations.
The salary will be based on the commission which will depend on how many SGDs you sell.
Duties
Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, SLPs, speech therapy clinics, schools, rehab facilities, etc. in order to promote SGDs and grow the business.
Conduct presentations and training sessions for referral sources.
Develop sales strategies and business plan to promote SGDs.
Present ideas and product attributes to audiences from one on one presentations to large groups.
Work with referral sources to ensure proper documentation per insurance requirements.
Assist patient’s SLP therapist with education on the use of the equipment as needed.
Support patients and caregivers as needed with proper operation of equipment including speech generating devices, mounting systems, etc.
Coordinate training for operations and clinical staff on support of the equipment.
Must timely complete paperwork, necessary documentation and systems.
Present Marketing and product ideas to management and be willing to assist in training subsequent AAC consultants.
Work closely with local manufacturer rep.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule and travel frequently.
Demonstrate high ethical and professional standards.
Always dress in business attire.
Other duties as requested by management.
Experience and Education
Required - Master’s degree in speech-language pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence through ASHA.
Michigan state license.
Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience preferred.
2-3 years in private ST practice or home health preferred and/or 2-3 years of post-graduate experience preferred.
2-3 years of employment as an SLP in any setting preferred.
Prior knowledge of AAC devices and software preferred.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Sales experience preferred.
