It has been a heavy, devastating week for America. Maybe you are grieving someone close to you, someone you were inspired by but didn’t actually know, unmet expectations, unfulfilled hopes, or just the darkness of this world.

Maybe you are asking what healthy grief even looks like in the whirlwind.

Every stage of grief is a natural part of the human experience. Sometimes it takes weeks to move through a stage, and other times it can feel like you are flying through all stages within an hour. Grief, like all healing, is not linear while we are on this side of heaven.

If you’re feeling bogged down in one stage, I’d love to support you in moving towards healing and finding meaning. If you are inspired by Charlie Kirk’s life and want to finally take hold of your purpose and move emotional obstacles out of your way, I’d love to support you in that too.

My maternity leave and the newborn bubble is in full swing. February 14th was the first day of my maternity leave, and February 18th, our new little life arrived. I am so thankful to have this special time with my family.

While I will be out of the office until June, I plan to share some here and have openings for new clients the first of June.

People pleasing is sometimes celebrated in our culture, but at the least it can leave you being unauthentic or at the most, living misaligned with your values and the life you truly want/need.

Just because it is relatable, doesn’t mean it is healthy.

I hope these tips help you break the cycle and get back on track with your values.

Boundaries are tough! If you did not grow up watching boundaries be modeled for you or being allowed to set boundaries for yourself, you probably find it hard to set boundaries now. You may find your instinct to be more people-pleasing than respectful of your needs, desires, and values. That only makes sense!

But it doesn’t have to stay this way forever! You can learn to set firm boundaries to protect, honor, and create the life you want to be living. It must be intentional.

Our thoughts play a role in influencing how we feel. And because our perspective is our reality, sometimes our thoughts aren’t always so accurate. We need a reality check.

When you’re feeling anxiety, it can be helpful to take a position of curiosity. Be the investigator instead of the victim. 🕵️‍♀️

🔍 Step 1: Get curious about your emotion.
What is this feeling indicating to you? Where did it come from?

🔍 Step 2: Get curious about your thoughts.
Try to indicate the thoughts connected to your anxiety.

🔍 Step 3: Challenge your thoughts.
As if you were in a court room determining if a thought is true, completely false, or maybe needs to be tweaked. Try asking the questions above!

🔍 Step 4: Come up with a new, more accurate thought.

🌿This is one practice to help take back control of your mind and emotions. It is possible!

You’ve heard it 1000 times and 1000 different ways… Don’t forget about self-care!

But you’re still not doing it.

There are a lot of things that get in the way of us living the life we want to live and doing the things we want to do. These are just a few!

Some tools that could help with these stuck points are:

💭 holding your thoughts loosely
🧠 processing thinking patterns
✋🏼setting boundaries
⚡️prioritizing
