11/17 was World Prematurity Day. 1 day late but had to share. After a placental abruption, our little guy came into the world unexpectedly at 35 weeks 1 day. He was born too soon. This quick entrance into the world via emergency c-section led to a 27 day nicu stay. The hardest month of my entire life, but worth the pain to have my child snuggling in my arms today. shout out to all the premie and nicu mamas, sending you lots of extra love, especially if you’re currently in the thick of it 🫶🏼
