Thank you to all who attended our second annual Light Up The Lake hosted by Mount Pleasant Country Club and sponsored by Aguilar Funeral Services.

It was a special time of remembrance last night as each name donated in memory of was read outloud, a bell rang to honor them, and a light lit to signify their eternal place in our hearts.

A special thank you to Jennifer Beene with Mount Pleasant Country Club for orchestrating our event space, Tiffany Aguilar with Aguilar Funeral Services for your donation of lanterns, and Jimmy Smith, Jr. for providing live music for the evening.

It’s a beautiful reminder that grief and peace can both co-exist in the holiday season. Our hearts are with you. 💜

We invite you to join us for our Light Up The Lake ceremony where we will call your loved one’s name, invite you to light your light, then we will sail off biodegradable lanterns in the water in memory this Thursday, December 18th at 5:30pm at the Mount Pleasant Country Club. Hors d’oeuvres will be served along with a hot cocoa bar. We promise it to be a moving and inspirational remembrance.

On Thursday, December 18th Cypress Basin Hospice will continue our tradition of remembering loved ones during the holiday season. Though their physical presence is apart from us, their spirits live in our hearts forever.
