🌅🍹 Our Rooftop Bar Tour is quickly becoming a resident favorite! This week’s stop took us to The Boathouse on Isle of Palms, where everyone enjoyed cocktails with a view followed by a delicious dinner of scallops, oysters, and more. 🦪✨

☀️ Our Assisted Living ladies enjoyed a sunny day out with lunch at Page’s Okra Grill! Great food, wonderful company, and even a special birthday celebration made it an outing to remember. 🎉💐

🌳 Our residents took a wonderful trip to John’s Island to visit the legendary Angel Oak Tree! Estimated to be 400–500 years old, this massive beauty stands 65 feet tall with branches stretching 187 feet and provides more than 17,000 square feet of shade. After soaking in its history and beauty, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Tomato Shed — a beloved local spot known for fresh market finds, unique gifts, and classic Lowcountry favorites like tomato pie, squash casserole, and butter beans with rice. 💚

💗 Our Independent Living residents put their hearts (and sweet skills!) into raising money for cancer research. They baked their families’ favorite recipes, and the overwhelming support from fellow South Bay residents made this bake sale a huge success! 🍪🧁👏

We were thrilled to host the recent Liberty Senior Living Top Chef Competition right here at South Bay at Mount Pleasant! 🍽️ Our chef and the talented chef from Quail Haven Village wowed the judges with stunning presentations and incredible flavors. We’re so proud to share that our chef will be advancing to the next round—and we’re equally grateful for the camaraderie, creativity, and beautiful dishes that made this event such a success. 👏

Our Independent Living residents took a flavorful trip to South America during an Ecuadorian cooking demo! 🇪🇨👩‍🍳 From spices to stories, it was a delicious way to explore culture and cuisine right from home.
