We are all SO thankful for Ms. Jess & her heart for pediatric OT! She is such a strong advocate for our Bloom kiddos, always helping them better understand themselves & navigate the world around them. We appreciate how much she genuinely & deeply cares for our Bloom kiddos, families, & therapy team! She is a gift to work alongside, & it's clear that our Bloom kiddos love her just as much as we do!

MEET MS. JAYMIE 🤍🌱

Jaymie graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science and a minor in Psychological Studies in December of 2020. In August of 2024, Jaymie graduated from Presbyterian College, earning her Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy. Jaymie completed her research on the utilization of nature-based therapy to enhance children’s well-being through sensory rich outdoor play. Jaymie has completed continuing education courses related to the following topic areas: introduction to DIR Floortime, sensory processing and integration, nature-based therapy, and emotional regulation supports.
Jaymie joined Bloom's therapy team in October of 2024. Jaymie values pediatric occupational therapy, because OT is a holistic practice and values a client-centered approach to patient care. Jaymie loves forming relationships with her patients and their families. According to Jaymie, "it is so fun and rewarding using the occupation of play as the basis for treatment!" Jaymie truly enjoys seeing her clients make such amazing progress with OT services all while having fun! Her favorite treatment activities are all the seasonal crafts her clients get to create and take home!
Jaymie loves anything outdoors, like going out on the boat on the Charleston harbor, taking a beach day, and finding nature trails! She also loves football season (Go Gamecocks!), trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her pup!

It's the best time of the year, but we always feel that way serving the sweetest Bloom kiddos & their families!! 🎄
