Public Announcement Regarding the TRMC–Christus Merger
There has been significant anticipation and speculation surrounding the future of Titus Regional Medical Center. With the announcement of the upcoming sale of TRMC to Christus, some in the community may worry that healthcare in Titus County will undergo sudden or dramatic changes.
Northeast Texas Women’s Health, a Wellness Pointe Clinic, has proudly served this community for 22 years. We remain dedicated to providing high quality, up to date healthcare for the women of Northeast Texas. While our hospital affiliation is changing, we are not.
Please be assured that our providers—and the level of care you have come to trust—are not going anywhere. The name and affiliation of the medical center may change, but our commitment to excellent care and accessible services remains the same. Our practice is not part of Christus, but we will work closely with their team to ensure our community continues to thrive and stay healthy.
Despite rumors or public concerns, access to women’s healthcare will not be affected. The providers at Northeast Texas Women’s Health will continue to provide the full range of women’s health services, including family planning and sterilization procedures.
The most important thing to remember is this: healthcare in our community is strong and here to stay. This transition represents an opportunity for positive growth, and we are committed to being part of that progress.
