Charleston Keta-mine Center is the first outpatient clinic in Charleston providing novel treatments

Charleston Ketamine Center is the first and only outpatient clinic of its kind in South Carolina. Providing personalized, compassionate and high quality ketamine infusion therapy, Dr. Bowen and his team tailors treatment to meet each patient's needs and helps them maintain a happy, healthy quality of life. Ketamine has been used for anesthetic purposes for over 50 years. Recent studies show Ketamine Infusion Therapy is highly effective for treating and preventing major depression, fibromyalgia, PTSD, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and anxiety. There continues to be more exciting research being published regarding ketamine and its benefits for mental health. Dr. Bowen received his BS degree in biology from the University of South Carolina in 1980. In 1985, he graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in 1988. After completing his residency, he worked as an Emergency Department physician for several years before transitioning into private medicine. He has been published over 124 times, has been invited to speak internationally and holds 3 patents.
