We are happy to welcome Sayres McKenna, PT to Advantage Physical Therapy!

Sayres McKenna, PT, DPT is originally from Wilmington, NC. She developed a passion for movement and recovery through both academics and athletics. She earned a bachelor degree in Recreational Therapy from Western Carolina University, where she played collegiate soccer. That experience solidified her dedication to helping others achieve their physical goals, leading her to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina.
At Advantage Physical Therapy, Sayres specialize’s in functional training, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, sports medicine, and balance disorders. My approach is rooted in evidence-based care and individualized treatment plans designed to restore function and improve quality of life.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my fiancée, Ali, and our dog, Midnight. We love being outdoors and exploring Charleston’s vibrant food scene together.
