Van Driel's Medical Support Wear

Van Driel's Medical Support Wear We are a family owned and operated business specializing in compression garments. A first time fitting will take between 30 and 45 minutes.

Our job is to make sure that you are measured correctly and fitted with a high quality garment that best meets your medical needs. When you enter you will find a welcoming staff, highly experienced fitters and an amazing variety of medical compression and support wear. You will receive appropriate instruction in how to apply and remove your compression wear without damaging either the garment, or yourself. To ensure we have the time we need to provide you with the attention you deserve, please call us to schedule an appointment. During this time, we will take measurements and discuss your needs to find the right product for you. You will also have an opportunity to try on your garments before you are committed to them. You may be surprised to find that a properly fit compression garment actually feels really good! So, come in and see us! Let us take the scare out of compression wear.

Did you know that the social media accounts you follow can affect how successful you will be at achieving your goals? Andrea Leifer, PT, DPT, CLT, understands that while social media posts have the potential to lift us up and encourage us to support others – they also have the potential to bring us down, question our own self-worth, or reinforce thoughts of frustration if we let it. A goal that you once thought might be too hard might seem a little easier to reach if you monitor what you follow.

FROM: Dr Alfonso Tafur
Save the Date!
April 27th

Why do some patients with pulmonary embolism have long term shortness of breath?
Why do some die despite our best care?
Are we able to discriminate this probability on the date of diagnosis?

I ask myself the same questions every time I see a new patient with PE.
I think we do understand who will have a worse prognosis,
but because there is much more to learn I am inviting
Dr. Eugene Brailovsky to the next ClotAware Meeting.

Dr Brailovsky is a Cardiologist, Instructor of Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center, Co-founder of the LUMC Pulmonary Embolism Response Team.

He has a well-grounded interest on stratification of risk in patients with Pulmonary embolism and will teach us more about the disease.

Hoping to see you
