Living with chronic pain? It might impact more than just your back — it could also raise your risk of heart problems. 🫀

A large study revealed that people whose pain stayed the same or worsened over time were more likely to develop heart disease. Those who experienced pain improvement did not face this increased risk.

The great news? Managing and reducing your pain can boost both your comfort and overall health.

If your pain hasn’t improved, now is the perfect time to take control. Schedule an appointment today and begin your journey toward better health and well-being. ❤️‍🩹

Pain in the front of your knee? 🦵

Most of the time, this is patellofemoral pain syndrome, where irritation occurs between the kneecap (patella) and the leg bone (femur).

However, new research has found that many times the femoral nerve might also be involved! 💡

Wondering what’s causing your discomfort? Chiropractic care can help identify and treat the root cause to get you moving pain-free again.

How you get to work might impact your joint health more than you realize. 🚗

New research shows that people who walk or bike to commute are less likely to develop osteoarthritis than those who drive daily.

Why? These active choices help keep your joints moving, maintain healthy cartilage, and reduce stiffness over time.

It’s proof that small daily habits can make a big difference in your long-term joint health.

Let us help you stay active and pain-free so you can keep moving well for years to come. 🙌

Do you have low back pain that just won’t go away?

It might not just be your spine; your muscles could be a significant part of the problem.

A recent review found that muscle knots, also called myofascial trigger points, are common in people with back pain. What are the most affected areas?

✅ Gluteal muscles
✅ Lower back muscles
✅ Deep hip stabilizers

These tight, sensitive spots can contribute to pain and stiffness, especially in chronic cases or when nerve irritation occurs.

The good news is that hands-on treatments that target these trigger points can help reduce pain and improve movement. 💪 Give us a call to get those knots sorted out!

🧠💪 Movement matters—especially for chronic pain.

New research shows that regular physical activity can lower the risk of long-term pain in the neck, back, hips, and even migraines. Sitting too much? That’s linked to more pain.

The benefits were more substantial in people with lower inflammation and better overall health, so personalized care is key.

If pain is holding you back, we can help create a plan that fits your body and goals. Check out this helpful guide for more on physical activity! https://bit.ly/4nDPKwl

Did you know that the strength and tone of your back muscles might be linked to specific changes in your spine?

A recent study found that people with chronic low back pain and Modic changes, which are degenerative changes seen on MRI scans of the spine, tended to have:

🔹 Smaller and weaker back muscles
🔹 More fat in those muscles
🔹 More severe disc problems
🔹 Higher pain levels

Keeping your deep spinal muscles strong and healthy may help manage or even prevent some spine issues.

If you are dealing with ongoing low back pain, it may be more than just your discs. Your muscle health could be playing a big role, too. Check out this infographic for more on Modic classifications!

🦴 Living with osteoarthritis is tough enough, but when anxiety or depression are also present, it can take an even bigger toll on your well-being.

A national study found that adults with osteoarthritis who also had anxiety or depression reported much lower quality of life. The impact was even greater for those dealing with both conditions simultaneously.

Here is the encouraging part—some simple habits are linked to better physical and emotional well-being:

✅ Regular physical activity
✅ Staying socially engaged and employed
✅ Mental health support

At our clinic, we focus on more than just your joints. We help you move better, feel stronger, and support your overall health so you can keep doing what matters most.

🍟 Could your diet be making your knee pain worse? A new study says yes, especially for women.

Researchers looked at over 4,000 people with knee osteoarthritis and found that those who ate more ultra-processed foods had more pain, slower walking speed, worse daily function, and thinner cartilage.

The link was strongest in women, suggesting that diet may affect joint health differently in men and women.
