Troop 23 had an amazing day on the slopes. Everyone had a blast, and even first time skiers were cruising confidently by the end of the day. Great day and great weather!

New MP podcast with our ASPL!

We are proud to present Beyond the Watertower, a new Mount Prospect history podcast created in collaboration with Prospect High School's Knight Media.

Historical Society Director Emily Dattilo and Knight Media Online Editor-in-Chief Noah Jahn examine little known, and sometimes crazy, history from Mount Prospect's past. They'll be talking about the radio pirates, water tower incidents, and much more!

The series begins with an overview of Mount Prospect's four Founding Families and some excerpts from the newspaper social columns, which read a lot like a paper version of social media.

Last weekend, Troop 23 hit the Harley-Davidson Museum for an awesome hands‑on adventure while working toward their Engineering Merit Badge. They learned a ton, asked great questions, and who knows—maybe we’ve got a few future riders (or engineers!) in the making.

It was a pleasure to help the Mt. prospect historical society by setting up the luminaries for the House walk. Always a great way to get in the holiday spirt.

Troop 23 celebrated our annual Scoutsgiving earlier this month!
We spent the day giving back with a camp service project, enjoyed plenty of delicious food, and shared great times with even greater company. A perfect mix of service, fellowship, and fun!

Please congratulate our newest Troop 23 Eagle, Robert! 🦅 He chose to have his Eagle Court of Honor at our campsite. It was a beautiful perfect sunny day for the ceremony!
