What is Stomach 36 point and how can it help?🌱

Stomach 36 is one of the
most powerful points on your body. It helps strengthen qi and blood, gets rid of damp, strengthens your digestion (spleen and stomach), strengthens the body, relaxes you spiritually, and relieves pain.
It is located on the lower leg, about one-hand breadth below the patella and one-finger breadth lateral of the anterior crest of tibia. You can stimulate this point yourself using acupressure. It is a fantastic point if you feel fatigued, have any gastrointestinal concerns, or pain anywhere in your body.
A perfect addition to your pre- and post-workout stretch. I recommend to patients to press lightly (5 lbs. pressure) on this point for about 5 seconds the first thing in the morning. Try it and see for yourself!🌱

Can Acupuncture help with hair loss ( Alopecia)? YES it can!🌱

There are different types of alopecia. Androgenic alopecia involves a thinning hairline or loss of hair at the crown, while alopecia areata leaves patches without hair on the scalp. Alopecia totalis involves the complete loss of hair from the head, and traction alopecia means the hair loss is due to the hair being pulled, as by a tight ponytail. Alopecia can be temporary or permanent, and it can affect the scalp or the entire body. Its causes include heredity, hormonal shifts, medical issues, and aging. Alopecia can have a devastating impact on a person’s self-esteem, as well as causing psychological distress, in the form of conditions like anxiety and depression. Not every type of hair loss can be treated by acupuncture, but for alopecia areata, acupuncture has proven to be effective.

Using acupuncture, alopecia areata treatment can be performed without the use of medications. When used for alopecia, acupuncture reduces inflammation and promotes blood circulation to the scalp. It can also help balance hormones, addressing the hormonal imbalances associated with alopecia. Acupuncture has long been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to stop hair loss and support regrowth, and many health professionals in Western countries use acupuncture to stimulate nerves, muscles, and connective tissue, to increase blood flow and promote healing. Acupuncture must be done by a qualified practitioner, who penetrates the skin with thin, sterile, solid, metallic needles, either by hand or with electrical stimulation🌱🌱

Can acupuncture help you to get pregnant?YES!🌱

The benefits of acupuncture for fertility may include:

Regulating your menstrual cycle.
Improving s***m count and motility.
Increasing blood flow to your reproductive organs.
Decreasing stress and anxiety.

In traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is thought to help balance qi (pronounced “chi”), an energy force that’s believed to flow through pathways in the body called meridians. Your acupuncturist inserts fine, sterile steel needles into your skin at multiple “acupoints” to prompt your body’s healing response. In the case of acupuncture for fertility, these acupoints are often in your abdomen, targeting your reproductive organs.

When to see an acupuncturist if you’re trying to get pregnant?

Most fertility specialists recommend making an appointment with them if you’ve tried unsuccessfully to conceive for six months to a year. But you can start seeing an acupuncturist long before then.

Many acupuncturists suggest coming in a few months before you hope to conceive, whether naturally or through IVF or IUI (intrauterine insemination), so they can assess your bodily response throughout a few menstrual cycles.💫💫💫

Can’t sleep at night?!
ACUPUNCTURE can help!🌱
In traditional acupuncture treatment for insomnia, tiny needles are inserted into specific points on the body that correspond to the patient's symptoms. The needles are left in place for 20–40 minutes and then removed. Patients may receive treatment 2–3 times a week for a total of 10 sessions, which is considered one course. Some acupuncture points that may be used for insomnia include:
Anmian
Located behind the ear, midway between GB20 (Fengchi) and SJ17 (Yifeng), this point may help induce a calm state and facilitate sleep. It may be especially helpful for insomnia and stress-related sleep disturbances.
Baihui
Also known as "Hundred Meetings", this point is located at the highest point of the head, centered and in line with the tips of the ears. It's the second most common acupoint used in studies for insomnia treatment. 🌱🌱
