Arrived in Tenosique, Tabasco after another long ride through southern Mexico. 🇲🇽🏍️

This area has a completely different feeling from the tourist destinations. Jungle landscapes, river crossings, small roadside towns, and incredibly welcoming people everywhere along the route.

Traveling by motorcycle lets you experience places at ground level in a way that flying never could. Every fuel stop, repair, conversation, and road becomes part of the story.

At BMW in the U.S. this repair likely would have meant waiting 3 weeks for a replacement part shipped from Germany.

Instead, somewhere on the road in Mexico at a PEMEX station, with someone openly saying “I’m not a mechanic,” we pulled the bike apart, reshaped the damaged part by hand, reassembled everything, and got the BMW F850GS running again in just a couple hours 🇲🇽🏍️

The people have been super friendly in Mexico. It's an honor to be in their country.

101 degrees in central Mexico… then the ABS failure warning appeared. 🏍️☀️🇲🇽

One of those moments where you realize adventure riding is equal parts freedom and problem solving. Endless desert roads, intense heat, and still pushing south.

Mexico continues to surprise me every day.
