Support our future Physical Therapist Assistants!
The MCTC Physical Therapist Assistant Student Organization (MCTC PTASO) is
hosting a 3K to raise $4,500 in support of our current PTA Cohort.
This will directly help cover essential academic and professional expenses that every PTA student must complete as part of the program.
These funds will go towards:
• PTA Polos – $29 per student
Students wear their PTA polos at events and during clinical rotations.
• PEAT Exam – $79 per student
A required pre-board academic exam to assess readiness for licensure.
• Scorebuilders Basecamp Software – $89 per student. Mandatory online learning software that supports exam preparation.
• Scorebuilders Academic Exams – $50 per student. Practice exams designed to prepare students for the PEAT exam.
• Scorebuilders In-person Event – $700+ total
A crucial academic review session for board exam preparation.
PTA Pinning Ceremony – $500–$700 total
A special celebration recognizing students’ completion of the PTA program.
(Since PTA students graduate in December, this event replaces the traditional
May graduation ceremony.)
• PTA Lab Kits – $800 total (shared)
Hands-on training equipment used throughout the program.
• Social Events – $300 total
Team-building and networking events that strengthen our PTA community.
Every dollar raised will help reduce the financial burden on students as they work
toward becoming licensed Physical Therapist Assistants.
