Big day at KY2! Jordan hit the ground running and completed his very first flight on his first day!

Jordan will be completing his orientation with our crew at KY2 but will be the newest flight medic at our sister base, Air Methods KY 3 Somerset!

This month, you’re going to start seeing a lot of new faces flying with our crew at KY2! We couldn’t be more excited about it!😁

We currently have three orientees on board as we gear up for some big things ahead, including the opening of our new base, KY15 in Russell County, and a new Flight Paramedic joining KY3 in Somerset.

The full moon brings the sister bases together yet again 🌕🚁

KY2 flight crew had the chance to cross paths with the phenomenal crew at KY3! Nothing better than seeing familiar faces on these late night flights!

KY2 had an awesome time in Powell County today! We got to hang out with some of the coolest 3rd graders and share what we do, how we serve our communities, and what it takes to be part of a flight crew. 🚁

There’s nothing better than seeing that curiosity and excitement! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️Who knows, we may have met some future crew members today! Thanks for having us, Powell County!

We at KY2 are proud to be training the clinicians who will soon be serving at our new Russell County base, KY15—opening soon!

Yesterday was a big milestone as Katelynn completed her very first patient transport with our crew. Moments like these are what it’s all about, building confidence, strengthening our team, and preparing to serve our communities at the highest level.

Help us congratulate her on this accomplishment and stay tuned as KY15 gets closer to launch!

Nothing like getting to see your sister base KY11 just before National Siblings Day comes to a close! 🚁💙

Even though we may be based in different locations, it’s all one big family when it comes to what we do. From shared missions to the same commitment to bringing critical care to those who need it most, it’s always a great feeling crossing paths with our sister base.
