Mt. Sterling Health & Rehab is proud to formally introduce Brandi Johnson, RN, as our Director of Nursing.
Brandi brings 14 years of nursing experience, with a background in both pediatric and long-term care. Throughout her career, she has been drawn to serving vulnerable populations — individuals who depend on skilled, attentive, and compassionate care during some of life’s most challenging seasons.
Her decision to pursue nursing was shaped by a deeply personal experience. While supporting her stepfather during his battle with cancer, she witnessed firsthand the profound impact nurses can have — not only through clinical skill, but through comfort, presence, and dignity. That experience continues to guide her approach to care and leadership today.
As Director of Nursing, Brandi’s priority is clear: to ensure that every resident at Mt. Sterling Health & Rehab is safe, comfortable, and treated with respect at all times. She believes excellence in long-term care requires both strong clinical oversight and meaningful human connection. A calm voice, a reassuring presence, and consistent compassion are just as important as medical expertise.
Brandi describes herself as caring, passionate, and empathetic — qualities that are evident in her leadership style and in her commitment to supporting both residents and the nursing team who serve them each day.
We are confident that under her direction, our nursing department will continue to uphold the highest standards of care while maintaining the warmth and dignity our community values.
Please join us in welcoming Brandi to this important leadership role.
