📢 Medicaid Update – October 1

We are aware that today’s Medicaid fee schedule reflects an 8% reduction for 99% of OT codes, despite prior notice indicating only a 3% cut. NCOTA recognizes this discrepancy and is actively seeking clarification.

👉 We strongly encourage providers to contact the Medicaid Provider Ombudsman at:

When reaching out, please reference a claim with an adjudication showing the 8% cut, as this documentation will be essential in demonstrating the issue. Please note that a small number of OT codes still reflect the 3% reduction.

We sincerely appreciate your continued advocacy during this challenging time. NCOTA will share definitive updates as soon as they become available.

Quiet Hours | 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: During this time, ride lights, music, and sound effects will be turned off or greatly reduced to provide a calmer, more sensory-friendly environment.
