I had the pleasure of being an ambassador & I have attended a council meeting.

I would like to urge every member to go to a council meeting.
Go to see if the person you voted for to speak for you is doing #1 a good job, #2 does their agenda line up with yours #3 is it what they are telling you when you ask #4 is it helping the tribe or hindering #5 do you see this person working as a team player or someone wanting to cause division.
After the meeting really think on it.
Now, When you voted (rather it was for family or the best person, you thought at the time, for the job) was it the best choice. If so awesome. If not, it’s time to do better. If their term isn’t up at this election then in 2 years.
It’s time for a council and a Chief willing to work together as one along with the housing authority as one to be the WARRIORS and people we were meant to be!
It’s time to stop fighting against each other & fight together. Stop bickering over little things & starting tackling big things! Together we will make a difference but Divided We Will Surely Fall.

HAPPY INDIGENOUS PEOPLES DAY! Colombus who??? Im so proud to be a MOWA CHOCTAW INDIAN. Indigenous peoples as a whole have came so far since the attempt to take us out. We are still as strong as ever and we will continue to get stronger. Our people are resilient that has been proven and will never change.
