I forgot to make a post, but I PASSED MY STATE BOARDS!!!!
I’m OFFICIALLY A LICENSED ESTHETICIAN!!! 😩🤩🤩🤩
I’ll be posting once I find a place to work, but currently, I’m saving up to open my own place! Big dreams I know, but I finally made it past the biggest and hardest part!

I blinked and 10 months flew by… 🥹
I know most of you assume going to school to be an esthetician is light work, but I’m here to tell you you’re wrong lol. I should’ve gotten class hours for the amount of times I cried both at school, and home 🤣😅
But, this class was one of the best things I’ve ever experienced. From my classmates, to our instructor, to the class itself and getting to meet new clients and share a “first” with everyone there… it’s so rewarding watching not just myself, but all the girls grow and flourish into the amazing esthetician they will be. I have no doubt that we all will succeed in life and in this career.
Completely insane to me how 3 years ago at this time I was an EMT, and now I’m an Esthetician 🤣

✨ I passed my 300 question written exam with an 86%, and I passed my practical with a 100% 😆✨
Bittersweet knowing I won’t get to see these girls altogether again in class, and bittersweet knowing I’ll never get to service one of my clients at school in my decorated treatment room again… 🥹🥹
✨The BIGGEST thank you to Ms. Andi for being the BEST instructor, for always being patient and kind with us. For always going above and beyond for us. I’ll remember you forever! And I’m so happy we had you to teach us all the things.
✨Another thank you to my sweet esthie besties. We probably gave each other at LEAST 170 facials throughout the year 🤣🤣 from the beginning of the year, none of us really liked each other or cared to get to know each other🤣 Then next thing you know, you all gave me my first Brazilian, and we all go to lunch together Every. Single. Day. It feels like I’ve known you all forever now.. 🥹
✨Thank you to my clients who were family, friends, and strangers. You all have no idea how much it means to me that you trust me to come get a service. I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know, and I truly hope to see you in my own place one day.
✨& last but not least, a thank you to my beautiful daughter Kynleigh. Without you, I wouldn’t have made it this far and definitely wouldn’t have had the motivation to finish. 💕

So with all this (sorry I got carried away), but for now this is my last post as a student…
I sign up for my state board exam on Tuesday and soon enough (I hope) I’ll be Madysen Hicks, Licensed Esthetician 🤭

I’m only able to take appointments from 1230pm-2pm, as it’s still our clinic class day so we are practicing skills in the morning!

If you're wanting to really slay them brows, I would suggest a brow wax, tint and lamination.
I will definitely make this a package deal once I start my own business. 😩

These 3 services could save you so much time and energy in the morning!!!
I personally love having my eyebrows laminated, otherwise I spend wayyy too much time in the morning trying to make them twin sisters, all for them to come out cousins.
The girls that get it, get it...

I prefer my eyebrows to be more clean and sleek, then feathered and fluffy. Both are possible with any type of brow. The choice is all yours!

A great service for someone who has bacne (back acne), acne scars, or if you just want an overall relaxing service.

- A bacial consists of a gentle steam cleanse, followed by a full cleanse of the back, then a skin analysis.
- A customized exfoliation mask is applied, and extractions done if needed.
- The session will conclude with a customized treatment mask and a finishing treatment serum + moisturizer to lock in results.

A brow lamination is a semi-permanent treatment that offers an alternative for those seeking to maintain a specific brow style without the use of eyebrow gel.

Here are my next openings!
Mini facials are sooo convenient if you just want to keep it short and sweet.🥰
The options are; a mini with exfoliation, a masque, or with the lymphatic draining massage. 💆‍♀️

We ARE doing waxing now, so bring me them armpits girllll. 💁‍♀️ But seriously, waxing is so much better than shaving in sooo many different ways, don't even get me started!!

& don't forget about our new acneic treatment!!
Relaxing facials are AMAZING don't get me wrong, but we do offer basics, minis, and the acneic treatment as well. (with modality options such as blue/red light therapy, and the high frequency wand).

I also got a guasha, a jade roller, ice globes, AND a blackhead extractor. 😎
I don't expect any of you to know what those are, but come get a facial and let me show you 😘🤣
