Starting this Friday, January 17, Riverside Recovery Services will begin serving as a host to a brand-new SMART Recovery meeting at our Mt. Vernon outpatient office. These meetings will be held Fridays at 5:30pm and are open to all individuals who are seeking recovery from addictive substances and behaviors. If you have any questions, please contact Austin Farrell using the information provided on the attached flyers.

Clients and staff of Riverside Recovery Services had the privilege of helping The Byron Saunders Foundation pack boxes of food today so that needy families in Knox County can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. It’s estimated that 550 families in Knox County will benefit from the program this Thanksgiving, and our volunteers were grateful to have been able to spend time this morning giving back to our Knox County community and to families in need through their participation.

Riverside Recovery Services honors individuals who serve as examples of the power of hope and recovery by presenting them with the "I Am Hope" award. This award recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond in healing lives, families, and communities as part of their journey to addiction recovery. One of our latest "I Am Hope" recipients is Shannon. Shannon serves as a beacon of hope through her endless joy and optimism, and she has allowed us to post the story of how Riverside Recovery Services has helped her discover a new life and sense of self through her recovery. Congratulations, Shannon!
