Watching Friends and making breathing bead bracelets. The big bead is your reminder to relax your face, drop your shoulders, and relax your hands. Every bead is a breath cycle of inhale and exhale. You compare the breath with a mantra, affirmation or even things like smell the cookies and blow out the candles. If you practice often to put your body in a relaxed state, even just for a minute or two a day, your body learns that when you hold the beads, you can get in a relaxed state faster with that training affect. It’s a good life skill, but also excellent for labor prep.
