As part of the Love Mount Vernon community event, we had three wonderful volunteers stop by Lawrence County Manor to lend a helping hand.

A big thank you to Rachel Pittman, Sherri Lehman, and Brandy Jameson for taking the time to come out and wash windows for us. Your kindness and willingness to serve did not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate the care you showed our facility.

It’s always special to see our community come together like this. Thank you for making a difference at LCM! 💛

What a great evening at our RCC Open House!

Despite two rounds of storms and even a brief power outage, the night went on thanks to our generators. Guests enjoyed appetizers, toured the community, and spent time connecting with our team and neighbors.

It turned into such a warm and welcoming evening of fellowship. We’re grateful to everyone who came out, and we know our RCC residents were proud to show off their home. 💛

🌟 Resident of the Week: Rose Fredrick 🌟

Rose Fredrick has spent her life in the Ozarks, attending school in Mt. Vernon and Springfield. She grew up with an older brother and a younger sister.

Rose dedicated her life to caring for others through her work in nursing. She began her career at Lawrence County Manor as a nurse aide, later attended LPN school, and worked at MRC. She then spent 20 years as a surgery nurse at St. John’s Hospital before retiring from Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett.

Rose has a son and daughter-in-law and enjoys staying creative in her free time. She has made stained glass pieces, pottery, and cross-stitched projects, and also loves to read and spend time around animals.

Rose shared that her greatest love is for the Lord, something that has guided her throughout her life.

Rose currently resides in our RCC, and we are honored to have her as part of the LCM family. 💛

Take a look inside our Residential Care Center, where comfort and independence come together. Our residents enjoy private, apartment-style living while still having access to the support they need.

From three home-style meals served daily to welcoming community spaces where friendships grow, RCC is designed with everyday life in mind. Housekeeping and laundry services are available when needed, so residents can focus on what matters most, enjoying their day and staying connected.

It’s more than just a place to live, it’s a place to feel at home. 💛
