The staff of Spero Counseling and Wellness Center are credentialed, educated and licensed clinicians

Individual, Family, and Group Counseling

– Counseling for those dealing with Chronic Pain or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
Trauma informed counseling

Teenage issues of fitting in, low achievement, and executive functioning
Kids, teens and adults that want help with depression, anxiety, and social skills building
Couples counseling: Not connecting with a partner, healing post-affair, and empty nest issues
Older adult issues such as having kids and parents to take care of. CWC specializes in:
EMDR
TF-CBT
Play Therapy and Sand Tray Therapy for young children (5-10 yr olds)
We also work with pastors to provide support in a non-judgmental and confidential approach. Spero Counseling and Wellness Center offers many therapist who can incorporate spiritual life into each counseling session. Although Spero Family Services is a faith-based agency, programs are open and available to anyone fitting the service criteria without discrimination and regardless of faith or denominational background.

A highlight from this month's group was miniaturizing our beloved superheroes into pocket-sized cuties using Shrinky D**k paper. We explored the best hero attributes, like their strength, kindness, genius-level IQ, ability to lend a helping hand, and their totally on-point fashion sense.

This week’s group focused on friendship. We made a candy salad with each “ingredient” representing what it means to be a good friend! Being kind, caring, loyal, fun, honest, and funny were just a few mentioned.
