🗣️NEW SERVICE! I’m excited to share that I am now certified in the Vodder Method of Manual Lymph Drainage Massage.

*What is manual lymph drainage massage or MLD? A gentle, slow, hands-on repetitive, stretch and release technique. This therapeutic form of soft-tissue manipulation enhances lymph movement and promotes drainage within the superficial and deep layers of the lymph vascular system.

Bio

Hi, I'm a licensed massage therapist (LMT) and licensed esthetician (LE). I have been licensed in massage for 8 years and esthetics for 6. I attended Midwest Technical Institute for massage and Mr. John’s School of Cosmetology, Esthetics and Nails for my esthetics license. Pictured above is my treatment room at Bellissimo Salon & Spa, it is a redesigned space in a huge downtown building, part of the former Haines & Essick store. I offer Swedish/relaxation, pregnancy, and hot stone massage. I’m currently learning and working on deep tissue techniques to add to my services. With esthetics, I offer express and spa facials as well as back and body treatments including scrubs and mud wraps. I am often asked why I chose massage and I say I enjoy helping clients relax & escape from everyday stress as well as feeling refreshed after their service. I think everyone needs a break from everyday life to recharge.

Aug. 1, 2020- I have moved to a new salon. Bellissimo Salon & Spa has unfortunately closed and I have moved to Mint Salon. Mint is located in the Decatur Professional Plaza, 363 S. Main St., Suite 125. I can’t wait to get started and continue to grow my business.
