Last week, the residents of The Glenwood traveled far and wide to The Great Barrier Reef in Austrailia! Crystal, our Dining Services Director pulled out all stops when she "threw another shrimp on the barbie!" We enjoyed her take on surf and turf called "Reef and Range" which was a ribeye steak, crunchy breaded shrimp, and a twice baked potato. We had bacon wrapped scallops as an appetizer, as well as a mermaid salad! Check out thise details!!! We were immersed in the beautiful sea with the jellyfish swimming above us! A great time was had by all!

August is flying by! Today was our New Resident Welcome Luau Lunch! Our amazing Dining Services Director and kitchen crew whipped up a beautiful meal of grilled chicken kabobs, pulled pork sliders, pineapple fried rice, egg rolls, chips and mango salsa, and a stunning pineapple fruit tree. We enjoyed macadamia nut cookies to go along with our Hawaiian theme! Stay tuned for other fun things we have done this month!!!

Our Story

The Glenwood Assisted & Supportive Living communities are located in Effingham, Mt. Zion, Mahomet, Staunton, and Greenville, IL.

Our facilities are single level buildings and range from 38-62 large apartments; efficiency, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and 2 bedroom deluxe options.

Through the doors of The Glenwood communities, residents enjoy a warm atmosphere with a den/living room with fireplace, beauty/barber shop, fitness room, restaurant-style dining room, coffee bar, movie theater, and beautiful outdoor area.

Our apartments include private bathrooms with walk-in showers, self-controlled thermostats, kitchens with refrigerators and microwaves, large walk-in closets, and individual patios; all utilities included.
