Hello everyone, I just wanted to post a quick update. Sorry if I've been a little MIA the last few months; it has been a hectic season full of amazing highs and some sad lows. I am happy to say we are officially in the new space on S Church Street! There are things that are still a work in progress, but I have been slowly getting settled. Unfortunately, I did have a recent loss in my family - my grandmother, who was a huge part of my life, passed away after a long, courageous battle with cancer. This has led to me taking some time away from work to be present with my family. I hope to get back to a bit of normalcy soon and appreciate your patience and understanding as I do so. I truly appreciate your continued support of my business, and I look forward to sharing more of this new space and the progress with you all.

Im so happy to finally share that my business is growing into something new🌿

Appalachian Wellness & Apothecary will be opening soon in our downtown ( 107 S Church st), creating a collaborative wellness space for both providers and the community.
The space will include:
✨ Treatment rooms for Massage Therapy, Esthetics Services and other aligned providers!
✨ dedicated space for providers to host yoga or other wellness classes!
✨ An apothecary retail area featuring teas, tinctures, dried herbs, herbal remedies as well as natural body/ skin care.

This has been a long-held dream—to create a place where multiple healing modalities can exist under one roof, grounded in care, simplicity, and Appalachian roots.
I can’t wait to share more as things unfold. Truly want to thank all of you for supporting this journey and the vision behind it ❤️

✨ I will still be at my cold Springs location till renovations are complete. I will make a post and send an email to all existing clients once we get an opening day figured out!

✨ if you come in for a massage session with me, I just may bring out the Tok Sen! I find this ancient Thai Modality to be so effective and thought I’d share a bit more about it and why I love to incorporate it.

Tok Sen is a traditional Thai healing modality that uses rhythmic tapping along the body’s energy lines—known as Sen—to promote deep release and energetic balance. Originally from Northern Thailand, this technique dates back thousands of years and is still used today for its powerful therapeutic effects.

So, What is Tok Sen?
Tok Sen uses a special wooden tool set (typically made from tamarind wood) to gently tap muscles and fascia. This tapping creates vibrations that travel deep into the body, helping to:
