In October I heard this message.
A message you know you needed to hear.�I studied it again with .�And then I took it to my mat.

Proving doesn’t happen in comfort.�It happens in the stretching.�In the moments you feel pushed past what you can bear.

In Yin Yoga, we add gentle pressure to the body�so we can face the real pressures of life�with more softness, more clarity, more faith.

Time.
Heat.�Pressure.�Cleansing.�These uncover our true nature.

To let.�To soften.�To surrender.
Let Him hold what you cannot.

Focus on what you can.
Breathe.�Invite.�Trust.
Not attaching to a specific outcome.

Proving may make you want to resist,�retreat,�or shut down.

But trust is built in the process—�the slow revealing�that He is always there.

I hope this practice helps you feel Him, too.

I probably should’ve known what I was getting into when Josh showed up to our engagement photos with his Trek bike…

Either I was going to be competing with it—or I’d better sell my 10-speed and join the ride. 🚴‍♂️❤️

From life before kids—dating, the magic of Lake Powell, skiing, biking, adventuring—and all our wild ideas…

Like thinking it was smart to get a puppy and have our first baby in the same year 😅

To the best kind of “crazy,” like adopting internationally…

Every step has been an adventure I wouldn’t trade for anything.

I’ve loved sharing all the things we love—and even more, the joy of experiencing them with our kids.

Most importantly, our love for God and the promise of eternal families.

I wouldn’t want to do forever with anyone else.

You know those moments when you’ve been praying for something for quite some time and all you can do is sit with it and wait?

Wait patiently and let God?

This was one of those moments.

Then it showed up in a BYU speech by

Giving All Our Heart to Christ

Loved it so much I created a 25 minute heart-healing practice on YouTube inspired by her message. This gentle flow focuses on releasing stress and physical tension from areas where we hold it most—like the hamstrings, glutes, and shoulders—while also inviting the peace and presence of Christ into your movement and breath

Listen, read, study the messages Shima offers, and then bring yourself to the mat, invite Christ to your space and sit in it.
