We are your one-stop shop for all of your eye care needs, from annual eye exams, glasses and contacts prescriptions, medical management of diseases of the eye, to advanced surgical procedures.

SCAMMER ALERT

We have been informed of a scammer with poor English calling individuals, falsely claiming that Dr. Allison Booth has ordered medical equipment for them, covered by their insurance. Our patients quickly identified the scam, ended the calls, and quickly notified us. We suspect the scammer is attempting to obtain medical insurance information. The number that has showed up on the caller id is the now-closed Snead Eye Associates phone number: 870-424-2020.

Please be cautious and do not share personal or insurance details with unsolicited callers. When our office contacts you, we communicate clearly and professionally in excellent English. If you receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately and contact our office directly to verify any claims.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Optician to assist patients with their eyewear needs, from frame selection to lens fitting. This role involves delivering personalized service, ensuring high-quality eyewear, and supporting the overall operations of our clinic. The position is available immediately.

Responsibilities:

-Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that meet their visual needs and preferences.
-Measure and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses, ensuring accuracy and comfort.
-Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and proper eyewear care.
-Process and verify prescriptions, coordinating with optometrists as needed.
-Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and patient information.
-Perform minor repairs and adjustments to eyewear.
-Manage inventory of frames, lenses, and optical supplies.
-Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:
-2 years of professional experience as an optician, preferably in a clinical or retail optical setting.
-Strong knowledge of optical products, lens technology, and fitting techniques.

-Proficiency with optical software and equipment for measurements and fittings.

As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will provide critical support to our ophthalmologists and optometrists, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and clinic efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a professional with a minimum of three years of experience in the field and a strong commitment to excellence in Ophthalmology and Optometry.

Duties:
-Conduct comprehensive patient screenings, including visual acuity, tonometry, and other diagnostic tests
-Assist ophthalmologists and optometrists with advanced diagnostic procedures and patient examinations
-Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring proper sterilization of equipment
-Accurately document patient information and maintain up-to-date medical records
