Today, I had the privilege of attending the Kiwanis Club meeting representing Hiram Shaddox, and it was such a meaningful experience.

Kiwanis sponsored School Government Day, giving local students the chance to spend the day with elected officials from our city and county. Listening to each of the kids share what they learned was truly inspiring. You could see their confidence, their excitement, and their heart for their community shining through in every speech.

Moments like this remind you how important it is to pour into the next generation. There is so much potential in these young people, and I honestly would not be surprised if one of them becomes a future mayor, governor, or another great leader in our community someday.

A heartfelt thank you to Kiwanis for investing in these students and helping encourage the leaders of tomorrow.
