Hospice of the Ozarks The only not-for-profit hospice serving Baxter and Marion Counties for over 45 years.

The purpose of hospice is to provide support and care for people in the last phases of an incurable illness so they can live as fully and as comfortably as possible. The hospice concept is oriented toward caring for people rather than curing disease and often represents a more appropriate method of care. Hospice offers the alternatives of remaining at home, being free of pain, and being attended by family and friends.

BONJOUR! We wanted to provide a few more details with the attached and hopefully answer any questions about the upcoming Night of Hope Gala. To further clarify, black tie or formal wear is NOT REQUIRED to attend the Gala, dressy casual or cocktail attire is perfectly acceptable!

This event, at its core, is about the many patients and families who allow us into the most tender moments of their lives. We are sensitive to the fact that times are challenging financially for many within our community so your support in truly invaluable, thank you all!

Please join us for an "Evening in Paris" to support Hospice of the Ozarks as we host our Annual Fundraiser – A Night of Hope!!

Embracing the spirit of Paris, guests can expect an elegant evening filled with signature cocktails, a chef-selected dinner, silent & live auctions, & a chance to win some amazing raffle prizes, all for a wonderful cause!

For 47 years, Hospice of the Ozarks has been honored to serve the citizens of Baxter & Marion counties who live with life-threatening illnesses & all those who live with grief. Memorial Day is a time to honor, reflect, and remember those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Hospice of the Ozarks wishes to pay special tribute to all Servicemen and Women, in memory of many, in honor of all, thank you. Take a sneak peek at our Caregiver Support Group. This group! It is my JOY to meet and share with these special caregivers every Wednesday at 1:00 pm. They pour into each other in so many different ways, here are a few photos from some recent meetings. A generous gardener shared his Egyptian Walking Onions with the others and a talented artist painted a pet portrait to bring healing to one of the members. Anyone who is a caregiver is welcome to attend this support group. For more information, call Carol Jackson at 870-232-0990.

Our beloved Cindy Conn (on the right in photo) is being recognized for 30 years of service with Baxter Health. 4 years of which was with the hospital and 26 with Hospice of the Ozarks. Cindy, we love you, we appreciate you, we couldn't do it without you!
