Hospice of the Ozarks

Hospice of the Ozarks The only not-for-profit hospice serving Baxter and Marion Counties for over 45 years.

The purpose of hospice is to provide support and care for people in the last phases of an incurable illness so they can live as fully and as comfortably as possible. The hospice concept is oriented toward caring for people rather than curing disease and often represents a more appropriate method of care. Hospice offers the alternatives of remaining at home, being free of pain, and being attended by family and friends.

This month we celebrated our Hospice House's 20th anniversary of serving the Twin Lakes Community.

Like the seasons, people's lives go through change and transformation. This is not always easy or of their choosing, but it is important to reflect that no matter how dark the storm clouds may be, the light that can shine on its periphery is a comfort and a source of hope.

We reflect on Hospice's old motto:
"Your light in time of need"

No matter what the future brings we will continue our mission of love and dedication and bring the light of hope to those in need.
