One of our sweet therapy dogs, Archie, along with his mom, Penny (Hospice House Coordinator), represented Hospice of the Ozarks at the Ava Health Fair this past weekend! We are always so grateful to have any of the Hospice therapy dogs alongside us at community events - they are a great representation of our therapy services offered, and most folks just can't resist stopping by for a little cuddle or head scratch! 🐾

Still looking for a loving, forever home!!
Lil Bit’s owner passed away and she is in need of a new beginning. She is a beautiful 5 year old Tortoiseshell cat. She is an indoor cat and has been declawed. She is vaccinated, has been spayed and uses the litter box.

🐾PET PEACE OF MIND UPDATE! 🐾
Stella found her forever home recently and her new owners wanted to share a couple of sweet photos! Stella is doing so well and per her new adoptive parents, she has them "wrapped around her paw" already!

The Pet Peace of Mind program is such a treasure that's helped countless pets & owners; we are incredibly proud to be a part of it and wish Stella the very best in her new, loving home! ❤

Hospice of the Ozarks Volunteer, Shep Martin, and his certified therapy dog, Toby, make one dynamic duo! Toby & Shep regularly visit and provide comfort to our precious family of patients as part of the Pet Therapy services offered at Hospice of the Ozarks, also allowing Shep to use his volunteering hours towards the LEARNS Act, “Community Service Learning” program requirements.

We are incredibly grateful to the Martin Family for recognizing the impact both Shep & Toby make to Hospice of the Ozarks! If you are interested in becoming a Hospice of the Ozarks Volunteer, please contact Volunteer Coordinator, Deanna Lind, at 870-508-1771.
