A quick appreciation post for our ultrasound techs!

They’re the ones behind every clear image, every careful measurement, and so many meaningful moments in our patients’ journeys. Their attention to detail and calm, compassionate presence make a difference every single day.

We’re so grateful for everything they do. 💗

Let’s talk about something no one prepares you for: postpartum mental health.

There’s a lot of focus on the baby, but not nearly enough on how you’re doing.

Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or not like yourself after giving birth is more common than people think. Postpartum depression and anxiety can affect anyone, and they don’t always look the way you expect.

You don’t have to wait until things feel unbearable to speak up. Whether it’s your OB/GYN, a therapist, or a trusted support system, reaching out early can make a real difference.

Taking care of yourself is part of taking care of your baby. And you deserve that care, too.

Estrogen and progesterone play distinct but complementary roles throughout the menstrual cycle! Here's what you should know:

Estrogen is higher in the first half of the cycle and is often associated with increased energy, focus, and motivation. It also supports bone health and the buildup of the uterine lining.

Progesterone rises after ovulation and is linked to better sleep, a calmer mood, and emotional steadiness as the body prepares for a possible pregnancy.

The goal is not one over the other, but balance. Symptoms like fatigue, mood changes, irregular cycles, or poor sleep may be signs worth discussing with one of our providers!

Let's chat becasue it's necessary not embarrassing..

Before you panic-Google at 2am, here’s the truth: not all discharge is a problem. Your body is supposed to have it, and it changes throughout your cycle.

Clear, white, stretchy, creamy, it’s all part of the normal. But if there’s a strong odor, itching, burning, or a sudden change in color, that’s your cue to check in with us.

Bottom line: your body isn’t “being weird” it’s communicating. We’re just here to help translate.

Your body often signals when something isn’t right and hormonal imbalances are no exception.

Common signs include irregular periods, acne, fatigue, mood changes, weight fluctuations, and sleep issues. While these symptoms are common, they shouldn’t be ignored.

A hormonal evaluation can help identify underlying causes such as PCOS or thyroid disorders and guide the right treatment plan.

If you’ve noticed changes in your body or cycle, it may be time to check in with your OBGYN.

Pelvic organ prolapse happens when the muscles and tissues supporting the pelvic organs weaken, causing the bladder, uterus, or re**um to shift downward. This can lead to pelvic pressure, discomfort, or a feeling of vaginal bulging.

Pelvic organ prolapse repair surgery helps restore normal support and improve comfort and daily function.

Before surgery, patients typically need a pelvic exam, medical history review, and a discussion of the best treatment options.

If you’re experiencing symptoms, talk with us about whether treatment may be right for you.

Growing a human is hard work… especially at the finish line! 💛

As you get close to birth, staying hydrated is a BIG deal:

💧 Can help reduce Braxton Hicks
💧 Supports amniotic fluid
💧 Boosts energy for labor
💧 Helps with swelling + headaches

Think of water as your pre-labor power drink. Keep that bottle close and sip all day, mama. You’ve got this!
