We kept the boots scootin and the country spirit alive with our second Country Western Party, this time celebrating with our Assisted Living and Independent Living residents. 🤠

Just like our first celebration, everyone enjoyed fantastic live entertainment from our Wellness Center Drum Alive Troupe and the lively Pony Express country band. The music filled the room with energy, smiles, and plenty of toe tapping fun.

Residents were treated to chili, cornbread, and coleslaw, followed by apple turnover, cookies, and ice cream for dessert. It was another wonderful afternoon of great food, great music, and even better company.

A heartfelt thank you to our Drum Alive Troupe, the Pony Express band, our dedicated Activities team, our reliable volunteer Lynda, and the wonderful ladies from Elite Hospice and Home Health for helping make both celebrations so special. We are so grateful for the joy and community spirit that filled both parties.

On Wednesday, we brought a little country charm to the Nursing Home side with a fun-filled Country Western Party. 🤠

Our residents enjoyed wonderful live entertainment from our Wellness Center Drum Alive Troupe and the lively Pony Express country band, which had toes tapping and smiles all around.

Everyone dug into a country-style meal of chili, cornbread, coleslaw, and a sweet spread of apple turnover, cookies, and ice cream. The afternoon was full of music, laughter, and great company.

We are excited to keep the fun going with another Country Western Party this Friday for our Assisted Living and apartment residents.

A special thank you to our Drum Alive Troupe, the Pony Express band, our Activities team, our dedicated volunteer Lynda, and the wonderful ladies from Elite Hospice and Home Health for helping make it such a memorable celebration.

We have some exciting fun happening on campus this week. 🐐

A sweet baby goat, just five days old and full of energy, visited and loves to romp around. We loved to see all the smiles he brought.

We are also celebrating a Country Western themed month. Parties are happening this week and our staff are joining in with dress up days. It is going to be a boot scootin good time for everyone. 🤠

Happy Valentine’s Day. ❤️

Our residents truly felt surrounded by love from our staff and the wonderful Mountain Home community. Our Activities team shared chocolate and vanilla heart cakes that were enjoyed throughout the day.

We were also touched by the kindness of Baxter County Library. Staff and community members wrote Valentine’s cards for each of our residents, and reading those heartfelt messages at lunch brought so many smiles.

A special thank you to the American Legion and the VFW Auxiliary for honoring our resident veterans with sweetheart goodie bags and for donating bingo prizes.

From romantic comedies to Valentine’s Bingo, it has been a joyful day filled with laughter and appreciation. Thank you to everyone who made it so special.

We kicked things off with a pizza party to celebrate the end of our Football Club season and get into the Super Bowl spirit 🏈. The laughter, the shared stories from the season, and the way everyone came together made it such a fun evening. 🍕

After we’d filled up on pizza, chips, soda, ice cream, and good company, we moved into our award ceremony. With shock and laughter, residents accepted their awards with pride.

What an awesome season that brought such joy and great energy to our weekly get togethers. I’m already looking forward to next year — but for now, let’s savor the memories we made!

Thank you, Activities Team, for all you do and especially to Justin Sandecki for leading Football Club every season and Dre Casassa for her hard work making awards and certificates to celebrate the participants.

We kicked off Valentine’s Day week at Mountain Home with a truly special treat — a Valentine’s Day Chimes Concert, performed by our very own residents, for our residents 💕🎶

The chimes group filled the room with beautiful favorites like You Are My Sunshine, Oh My Beautiful Doll, and Fly Me to the Moon. The music brought smiles, toe-tapping, and so many heartfelt moments.

A big thank you to our talented chimes players and to their director, Donna Brown, for sharing your time, dedication, and musical gifts with our community. We’re off to a lovely start this Valentine’s Day week! ❤️
