THOUGHTFUL SEQUENCING
Classes are carefully constructed to carry the practitioner through three phases: Warm up, Workout, Cool down. Each class builds on the foundation of progressive work to facilitate physical strength, mental steadiness and deep relaxation to heal. Every class follows a basic structure:
Warm up: Seated Breath work, Shoulder stretches, Spinal stretches, Down dog or Wall-dog, & Sun Salutations
Standing & Seated Poses: A series of standing and seated postures to build dynamic strength
Cool down: Reclining poses, Backbends, Twists & Relaxation
INTELLIGENT ADJUSTMENTS
The teacher is present in the classroom to ensure that poses are performed with the best possible alignment so that you are finding your best pose. We consider your body structure and work with you to help you feel how the pose should fit your body, not to force your body to fit the pose.
Better alignment means better function of body systems. All injuries begin as asymmetries. Finding good alignment not only brings the body back into balance, but keeps you safe while practicing yoga and help heal pre-existing injuries.

We will support students no matter what stage of life they are in. Yoga is for everyone. No body is too old, tight or sick to do yoga. In fact, often, those are the folks who experience the most radical change through yoga! For those who already lead an active lifestyle, yoga can only enhance the activities you love. We want to help students achieve more freedom and better health through movement.
