The Center:

Joy’s Angels Holistic Healing Center serves all individuals affected by cancer – the disease and the treatment. We work in concert with the medical community striving every day to abolish cancer in all forms. The Center focuses on the health and lives of the patients. Their ability to handle stress, their responsibilities, relationships, their beliefs about living and dying.

Our Mission: To bring comfort and hope to cancer patients and their families through alternative healing methods.

Our Commitment: To gather a powerful and diverse group of energy, physical-health and quality of life practitioners to offer additional opportunities for patient-clients, caregivers and loved ones to increase and maintain peace of mind and physical health.

Our History: Seventeen years ago our founder, Denise Joy (Joy), an ordained minister, began working as a massage therapist. While she enjoyed her work very much, her understanding of therapeutic touch as a way to help others grew and expanded. Through word of mouth, the remarkable effect of the work on her clients came to the attention of oncology doctors who took a chance on Joy. They could not deny the benefits their patients were experiencing and attesting to after working with Joy. These doctors created a permanent place for Joy in their practice. Joy worked one-on-one with patients through healing touch, massage, aromatherapy and reiki, helping to relieve stress, redirect their energies toward their healing, while increasing their personal sense of peace.

Over the last year, Joy began to identify others, like herself, whose work offered remarkable comfort and inspiration to their clients who were facing serious health and life issues. The intersection of the need of those living and dying with cancer, and the talented practitioners in other healing modalities on Joy’s path, gave life to: Joy’s Angels Holistic Healing Center.

The Center will provide a strong mix of therapies, modalities and philosophies that are considered “alternative” in a conventional therapeutic context, but have been proven over many decades to offer considerable comfort and encouragement to people from all walks of life facing all types of challenges.
