Prayers for Thomas Lobbs Thomas is a twin born with a CHD called LTGA. He had 4 surgeries 9/11-3/12 then he had a heart transplant 8/7/12. Follow along for updates!

Thomas was born with several CHD and they are LTGA and Ebstein's Anomaly. He has had 3 OHS plus a pacemaker in 7 months. We were and still are hoping to be able to do the complex surgery Double Switch, but we aren't sure. On June 7, 2012, we came to clinic where we were told that Thomas was being admitted and needed a heart transplant as his left ventricle was failing. He had his 4th OHS on June 15, 2012 to remove the PA band. He was listed as a 1a on the transplant list on June 12, 2012. We are here in the hopsital till he gets a heart. It could take several months. Please continue to pray for Thomas and for us as we deal with all of this. We know God will not give us more than we can handle. Thank you again for all the prayers! LTGA means the ventricles and the great arteries are backwards and Ebstein's means the triscuspid valve is lower than normal and leaking which Thomas has had mild leaking for a while till about a year ago when it started leaking very badly. On August 7, 2012, We got Thomas's new heart!!!! He is doing great and will be released from the hospital on Monday 8/20 or Tuesday 8/21 where we will go stay at the Ronald McDonald House to an apartment that they have for transplant families and we will stay there until Thomas has his first heart cath and biopsy on Aug 31. 2012. On July 19, 2013, we moved to outside of Hot Springs, AR in order to be closer to Little Rock and to be closer to Richard's (Daddy) Mom and stepbrother! Daddy got a new job and so we are up here and got us a house! Thomas is the manager of the peewee football team and his brothers are playing football!!

Today would’ve been 12 years with Thomas new heart but God knew he was tired of taking 36 pills a day and not able to play football. Today Thomas we are thankful for the 10 extra years we got to make memories with you! Even if a piece of us is missing we know you are playing for he Cowboys in the sky! Hey everyone sorry for no post in awhile. We've been doing ok staying busy with the new grandbaby! This badge was made for Thomas from his friends that he role played with on the computer all the time. Thomas was very smart and loved anything law enforcement so I know he has a big grin on his face seeing this. Here is a picture of the grandbaby Kolton he's almost 7 months old and is almost crawling, has 2 teeth and loves to babble and he has said Da, La, PA, Hey, hi, and yeah. Hope you all are doing good. February is American Heart Month and the next couple of weeks is CHD Week which is Congenital Heart Defects and this is our reason we support and fight for things heart related and always will! 9 months….39 weeks 2 days….275 days….6600 hours since our world stopped since a golden heart stopped working. Time has literally stood still for us since the day we lost you Thomas Lobbs. I know you’re in a better place but this momma doesn’t want to do life without one of my babies, my best friends and a piece of my heart.
