Pet peeve! When a patient tells me oh I asked my Doctor or Nutritionist whether I should get Acupuncture for a certain condition. Do you ask your dentist if you should see a heart doctor when your having wierd and Stränge Palpitations no you get it checked by a professional of said profession and specialty. If you are not sure if the practitioner you are working with is well versed in Acupuncture it's method of Action, research done on it in various studies especially the NIH or it's over 3000 year history of testimonials and benefits then it's better you use google and search your siruation/condition and the benefits of Acupuncture-Chinese Medicine for your specific case. A lot of other health professionals won't recommend medical Integration because of lack of knowledge and now you've limited yourself in the possibility of deeper healing and a bigger tool box of what you have at your disposal to assure your health and Sawellness and life balance because some won't refer you out. Better to do your own research or you can call me and ask any questions ypu have regarding Acupuncture and it's plethora of benefits for health, wellness, beauty and just feeling really DAM # good....
