For the person grieving friendships they outgrew🤎

Not every friendship ends because someone’s toxic. Sometimes the relationship just outgrows its function.

Everyone's nostalgic for 2016.
For me, it's not about the year, it's about the version of myself who lived in it.
She was hopeful. Naive, yes, but anchored
She knew what mattered to her.
She hadn't learned yet how grief can bend you out of shape.
The years after changed me in ways I didn't fully understand at the time. Some growth. Some loss. Some choices l'd make differently now.
2025 felt like taking the mask off.
2026 feels like coming home.
These photos aren't about going backward.
They're a reminder that the core of who we are is allowed to return🤎

✨ Plagued by Concepts? Here’s The Anecdote✨

Let’s get real — deep breathing isn’t always the answer. Sometimes what we really need isn’t just to breathe harder, but to move the energy out of our bodies.

Here’s a somatic trick I love: Shake it out.
Yep, literally shake your hands, arms, legs — whatever feels good. It’s like giving your nervous system a little jolt of freedom. 🔥

Feeling overwhelmed by thoughts?
Stand up, shake your limbs, and notice where the tension lives. Let that energy move through you, not inside you. Sometimes, the best way to quiet the mind is to get the body involved.

Your thoughts aren’t the boss — your body’s the boss. Trust what it needs. 💫

🌞✨ Eudaimonia✨🌞

In a world that’s constantly pushing us to chase the biggest house, the flashiest car, and the trendiest handbag, it’s easy to forget what true wealth really looks like.

Positive psychology teaches us that real abundance comes from our experiences, relationships, and the moments that light us up. Think about it: happiness isn’t found in our bank accounts but in the sunlight warming our skin, the fresh air filling our lungs, and the laughter shared with our favorite people. 💖

Philosophers like Aristotle talked about eudaimonia—a fulfilling, meaningful life. It’s not about accumulating things; it’s about cultivating joy, connection, and purpose. When we focus on these aspects, we realize that we’re already rich in ways that matter most.

So, let’s shift our mindset! Instead of measuring our worth by material possessions, let’s celebrate the little moments that fill our hearts. Whether it’s a walk in nature, a cozy night in with friends, or simply soaking in the beauty around us, those are the true treasures of life.

🌱✨ Outgrowing Stories ✨🌱

Have you ever had that moment when you realize some of the beliefs you’ve held onto just don’t fit anymore? It’s like trying to wear shoes two sizes too small—uncomfortable and restricting! 🤦🏻‍♀️

We all have those stories we tell ourselves, like “I’m not enough” or “I can’t change.” They might have helped us navigate tough times, but as we grow, they can become more of a weight than a support. It’s wild how something that once felt protective can start to feel like a cage!

Letting go of these old narratives isn’t always easy. It can be a bit scary to step out of what’s familiar. But here’s the beauty: acknowledging that these beliefs no longer serve us is a huge act of self-love and courage. 💖

As you embrace your journey, remember that evolving is part of life. You’re not the same person you were yesterday, and that’s something to celebrate! So, let’s shed those old stories and step into the incredible, authentic versions of ourselves we’re becoming.

🌿✨ Destruction of Dysmorphia ✨🌿

We often chase this elusive idea of peace and perfection, believing that if we just look a certain way or push ourselves hard enough, we’ll finally feel whole. But let’s be real—this kind of thinking can lead us down a dark path, often called body dysmorphic disorder, where we get fixated on our perceived flaws and completely lose sight of our true selves.

Here’s the truth, my friends: our bodies are NOT the enemy. They are our homes, our vessels, and every mark, curve, and scar tells a powerful story of resilience and strength. 💪✨

To help us on this journey of rebuilding, let’s practice a little self-compassion and cognitive restructuring. When those negative thoughts creep in, ask yourself:

🌸What would I say to a friend who feels this way about their body?
(Be gentle and kind—because you deserve that love, too!)

🌸How can I reframe this thought to be more compassionate?
(Shift from “I hate my thighs” to “My thighs carry me through life, and I appreciate them.”)

🌸Is this thought based on facts or feelings?
(Let’s separate the emotions from reality; clarity is key!)

🌸What evidence do I have that contradicts this negative thought?
(Remember those moments when you felt strong and confident.)

🌸What’s a more balanced perspective I can take?
(Let’s find a positive or neutral way to view ourselves!)

By asking these questions, we can cultivate a mindset that uplifts rather than tears us down. Remember, rebuilding takes time, and every small step counts! đź’–

🌀Ruminating versus Processing🌱

✨ Are you feeling stuck in your thoughts? It’s important to recognize whether you’re ruminating or truly processing your emotions. Here’s how to tell the difference:

🌀Ruminating often leaves you feeling trapped. Your thoughts can feel rigid, as if you’re replaying the same negative narrative over and over. This usually leads to self-judgment, leaving you feeling disconnected from your body and stuck in anxiety.

🌱On the other hand, processing allows for flexibility in your perspective. It invites growth and understanding. When you’re processing, your self-talk is more curious and compassionate, and you may notice waves of tension followed by relief in your body. This approach encourages healthy conversations with yourself and others, fostering emotional healing.

If you find yourself caught in a cycle of negative thoughts, try shifting your focus. Engage in mindfulness, ask yourself open-ended questions, or talk it out with someone you trust.

Remember, it’s perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed, but moving towards processing can open doors to healing and clarity. 💖
