Congratulations to our Employee of the Month recipients! Today, during our monthly in-service, we had the pleasure of recognizing two outstanding team members for their dedication and hard work. ⭐Resident Choice Employee of the month Leeann Depew, who was selected by our residents and presented her award by our Resident Council President. This recognition is especially meaningful because it comes directly from those we serve each day. Thank you, Leeann, for the kindness, compassion, and exceptional care you provide to our residents. ⭐Employee of the Month Butch McClanahan, who was voted Employee of the Month by his coworkers was presented his award by our Administrator Amy Shell. This honor reflects the respect and appreciation of the team members who work alongside him every day. Thank you, Butch, for your hard work, positive attitude, and commitment to making a difference. We are blessed to have such dedicated employees as part of our Blossoms family. Please join us in congratulating Leeann and Butch on these well deserved recognitions!

There's something special about the simple joys of everyday life. Today our residents enjoyed spending time at our Farmers Market, browsing fresh produce and delicious baked goods while taking in the experience of "shopping" and making their own choices. πŸŒΆοΈπŸ…πŸͺ Activities that encourage independence and mimic natural, everyday routines are so important. Experiences like these help provide purpose, spark memories, promote social interaction, and allow residents to continue enjoying activities that have been part of life for so many years. It's not just about the produce and treats-it's about preserving dignity, independence, and the joy found in ordinary moments. Smiles, conversations, and happy hearts made for a wonderful day! ❀️

Another Nursing Home Week has come to an end for another year, and we wrapped up the festivities in true hero fashion with Super Hero Day! 🌟 We are so thankful for all of the "super heroes" we are blessed to work with each day. It takes compassion, patience, and dedication to work in long-term care, and we truly have an amazing team here at The Blossoms at Mountain View. πŸ’œ Every day our staff goes above and beyond to provide love, comfort, and care to our residents, and we couldn't be more proud of the people who make this place so special. Most importantly, we want to thank our community for putting its trust in us to care for your loved ones. It is a privilege we never take for granted.

There’s something truly therapeutic about being outside with your hands in the dirt, soaking up sunshine, fresh air, and the simple joy of planting something beautiful. πŸŒΈβ˜€οΈπŸŒ± Gardening is so much more than flowers β€” it’s a chance to relax, connect, smile, and enjoy meaningful moments together while benefiting emotional well-being and sensory engagement. πŸ˜ŠπŸ’– A huge THANK YOU to Makayla Moseley with Legacy Hospice for spending the afternoon planting flowers with us and bringing so much joy to our residents and staff. We are so grateful for your kindness and for helping make this activity such a fun and meaningful experience for everyone! 🌼✨
