CHAC Family Resource Centers CHAC Family Resource Centers is a program of CHAC (www.chacmv.org) and partially funded by FIRST 5 Santa Clara County.

Our mission is to teach families how to make the most of the first 5 years of their child's life through classes on early literacy, school readiness, and health/nutrition. Our center serves families in the northern area (district 5) of Santa Clara County, focusing on those with children in early childhood. In addition to Mercy Street FRC, we also have two satellite sites: Escuela FRC (260 Escuela

in Mountain View) and Vargas FRC (at Vargas Elementary in Sunnyvale). CHAC is a 501c3 agency and donations to our FRC are gratefully appreciated. Most of our services are free and supported by volunteers.

Just in time for summer, hiking backpacks are now available to borrow at the Library! These new backpacks include trekking poles, binoculars, ponchos, flashlights, pocket microscopes and more. Library cardholders may borrow a backpack for two weeks.
