Center of Balance was founded in 1997 by health and movement specialist Tom McCook and his business partner and wife, Karen deMoor. Guided by Tom’s educational vision and Karen’s organizational management, Center of Balance has developed into an internationally-recognized learning destination and teacher certification center, specializing in Pilates, Yoga, CoreAlign, Franklin Method®, BodyCode System, resistance stretching and bodywork. Featuring a talented community of instructors, our goal is to inspire life-long learning and wellness through conscious movement and self-awareness practices. Our studio environment is supportive and collaborative, where staff and teachers are committed to self-development and professional excellence. We continue to seek out and share innovative mind/body concepts, feeding Center of Balance’s rich learning environment. Students and teachers from throughout the Bay area – and as far as Europe and Asia - travel to our Mountain View studio for training and continuing education. At Center of Balance, our exercise programs completely engage your body and mind while restoring healthy movement. Whether in a private or class setting, skilled instructors offer balanced training techniques for people who want to lead healthier and more vibrant lives. You'll learn how to move with more awareness and feel what's right for your body, regardless of your current condition or fitness level. Our new 5,000 square foot center which opened in 2015, is a beautifully-designed renovated warehouse with separate studios for mat classes, workshops and private / small group equipment sessions. Bamboo flooring, spacious rooms with 20 foot ceilings, expansive skylights and soothing light fixtures create a warm and inviting atmosphere for all who visit.

**When:** Saturday, November 8, 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Learn the basics of scoliosis anatomy
- Practice exercises with bands and Pilates apparatus using counter-rotation, lateral flexion, and distraction
- Discover cues for classical Pilates exercises to assist clients with scoliosis or asymmetries

**2. Foot Matters for the Reformer (3 CECs)**
