As Skin Cancer Awareness Month approaches, we wanted to educate you on your body moles!

Moles are normal and most are harmless! But we should pay attention to any moles that may look different or change over time.

A great rule to follow is the ABCDE Rule when inspecting your moles.

The ABCDE rule reminds us what to look for:

A: Asymmetry
B: Borders (the outer edges are uneven)
C: Color (dark, black, or has multiple colors)
D: Diameter (greater than 6mm)
E: Evolving (changing in size, shape, and color)
